Sport and health has always been a major part of my life always competing at the highest level that I could and trying to push myself to achieve great things. I represented WA in soccer from the age of 13 until the age of 17 and was then contracted by Perth Glory Youth team at the age of 18.

Soccer was not my only passion, I was also the athletics captain as well as playing in the first XI cricket team at Trinity College. Unfortunately injuries plagued my career and ambition of becoming a professional soccer player from an early age.

Having experienced how injuries can affect a person’s life first hand, I knew that I wanted to learn more about the human body. Studying to be a chiropractor was a natural choice for me. One of the highlights of my studies was heading up to Geraldton where we spent a week treating patients from country town backgrounds and learning about indigenous culture. When I was offered a full time job straight out of University in Jurien Bay I jumped at the opportunity to once again work in a rural setting.

There is no greater feeling than being able to positively impact on other people’s lives and I am excited about the prospect of meeting new people and inspiring others to reach their full potential.

The friendly Face in reception!

I grew up in small country towns. I have experienced the many wonders of country WA and am continuously drawn to the coast.

We moved our little family of 5 to Jurien Bay in 2002 to experience a sea change from Perth. I befriended a local Naturopath and decided to make a lifestyle change as well. I completely changed my diet and embraced yoga, Pilates and meditation. I also ventured into the natural healing of herbal teas, essential oils and crystals. 18 years on and I am still learning new techniques and recipes.

We have recently returned to Jurien after a stint in Perth. I spend my free time absorbed in macramé, sewing and beach time. After nearly 8 years of working in administration at Hollywood Private Hospital, I look forward to using my knowledge and experience to help support a local business integral to the health and well-being of Jurien Bay

B.Sc (Chiro) B.Chiro DACCP

I became a chiropractor after experiencing my own fantastic results after suffering daily headaches as a teenager. Health has always played a significant role in my life from then on. I graduated from university with honours in 2016, and since have been working full time at a successful chiropractic clinic in Perth.

Growing up on a farm in the Wheatbelt instilled the values of hard work and my appreciation of the environment we live in. My husband and I now farm just out of Jurien Bay, and we love the lifestyle farming brings us. There is nothing more important to me than the fresh air, watching sunrises and sunsets, and watching animals grow (and having a few kelpies to keep us company!)

I have completed a 2-year post-graduate degree in paediatrics and has a strong passion for helping parents understand pre-conception and post-partum care. I love thorough communication and assisting parents in understanding the importance of developmental milestones, primitive reflexes, food intolerances, nutrition, gut health, breastfeeding and helping children develop into healthy adults.

I have chosen to specialise in the Gonstead chiropractic technique; it allows a complete and thorough postural and spinal analysis, x-ray explanation and comfortable, effective adjustments. I believe in correcting the cause of the problem and educating my clients on achieving optimal body function to prevent issues coming back. I’ve also done extra training in non-spinal adjusting to help improve function in all the other body’s joints- think all things feet, hands, shoulders, knees.
